Donald Stevens

featured image

June 4, 1934 to August 18, 2025

Don passed away peacefully at Grace Space Hospice surrounded by family and the caring, loving staff at Grace Space.

Preceded in death by his father Bill, mother Pauline, son Mark, brother Ron and wife Marty.

He was married to his high school sweetheart Marty for 62 years before she passed 11 years ago and she was the love of his life.

Don loved life in every way-fishing, golfing, playing pitch, and spending as much time as he could with his family especially when the Huskers played football.

He had the most contagious smile that would light up the room no matter who he was around. When he moved to hospice the staff fell in love with him, and he loved them all because they were so caring and kind.

At 91 you don’t have very many friends left but he made many new ones there before his passing.

He will be missed by everyone that he touched during his lifetime.

Don is survived by his daughter Joy (Rick) Allen and son David Stevens. 7 Grandchildren: Drake (Jessica), Drew (Tessa), Shawn (Lacey), Ben, Jon, Hannah and Holden.n10 Great Grandchildren: Joshua, Markus, Leiland, Madison, Kenyon, Kaylee, Makayla, AJ, Shaye and Bryce. 1 Great- Great Grandchild August.

Forever in our hearts and never forgotten!

Family is requesting donations to the Grace Space Foundation in lieu of flowers.

Celebration of Life at a later date.
