Jennifer Fee

Jennifer (Sahs) Fee, 55, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28th 2025, after bravely confronting cancer. Born in Detroit, MI, Jennifer lived the majority of her adult life in Lincoln, NE while also exploring NYC and Texas along the way. Jennifer was a deep thinker and gifted conversationalist, often engaging in profound and thoughtful consideration of ideas, issues and situations beyond surface-level understanding. Keen to challenge assumptions, Jennifer enjoyed evaluating different angles of a topic to better understand the root causes and implications of things, often resulting in extended, yet never boring, discussions! Jennifer’s interests were art, music, movies (90 minutes or less), cooking, and wrangling her cats.
Jennifer’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her strength will continue to inspire generations to come.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Shirlee Sahs, and brother-in-law Chuck Lakin.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, David Fee, siblings Linda Lakin, Tanya Walker, Jeff Sahs (Kim Sahs), Jan Sahs, Will Sahs, Matt Sahs (Tracy Sahs), and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

I am so beyond sorry for the loss of beautiful Jennifer. She was a beautiful soul, so sweet and kindhearted. I can’t imagine how hard it is to lose a sister and wife. Just heartbreaking for everyone.

Dave, sorry to learn about your loss of Jennifer. I recall meeting her many years ago when we lived in Lincoln and could tell right away her kind genuine presence and spirit.
