Penny Sue Glasscock,71, passed away on May 8, 2025, from a short fight with pancreatic cancer. She was born  August 7, 1953, at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha. She lived in Lincoln in her youth and then moved to Seattle where she met, and married John Glassock on December 15, 1973 in Fort Lawton WA. They moved to Fort Riley, KS for a short time and ended up in Lincoln.

She had a daughter Tracy Falk and a son Shawn Glasscock. She had 4 grandchildren, Brandon (Amy) Falk, Keaton (Madelynn) Falk, Ethan Falk and Emeri Glasscock. Her great grandchildren were Theo Falk, Mabel Falk, Tatum Falk and a new baby due in July.

Christmas was always a special time for her and she decorated every inch of her house. Camping was a favorite family activity as her kids and grandkids were growing up, almost every weekend was spent at the lake. Penny loved reading, crocheting and any crafts she could find. She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening and watching her grandsons shoot trap. Her very favorite things to do was watching and listening to Lincoln Stars hockey, and watching races at Eagle raceway.

There will be a small private family service.

Penny was a great neighbor to me and my kids. She kept a good eye on the neighborhood and helped start the Neighborhood watch program there on Cleveland Ave. Deepest condolences to you all Kathy.
