Nondo M. Moreno
Nondo passed surrounded by family and friends who loved him deeply.
Nondo was a member of the recovery community in Lincoln. He had a passion to help others as they started their journey into clean, sober, bet free living.
He is survived by his beautiful cat Gracie Mae; siblings: Richard Collins of Des Moines, Iowa, Joetta Collins Winkel of Vancouver, Washington, and Barb Hitsman of Des Moines, Iowa; nieces Cheyanne, Mara, Tara, Briana and nephew Devon.
He was preceded in death by his parents Beulah & Fernando and sister Raetta Rentze.
A Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church; 840 S. 17th Street in Lincoln.

I am truly sorry to hear of the loss of Nondo.
Please accept my condolences and may my prayers help comfort you and hasten the journey of his soul to Heaven.
My sincere sympathy to all of his family and friends.
Nondo was good friends with my niece, and I only met him a few times. But from only those few get togethers, I knew he was someone very special. He was one of those people where you just felt better being around him. He touched so many lives, and meant so much to many.
I am sad I did not get to spend more time with him, and hear more about his kittycat, Gracie. 🙂 I want to send much love to all of his family and friends. He was so loved. ❤️
I’m so sorry to hear of Nondo’s passing. He was so much fun to hang out with back in our teenage days. Such as kind soul.
