Doug was my next door neighbor when growing up in junior high and high school. We were friends along with Craig Haar and Bob Upton. We had a lot of fun fishing at Stevens Creek and hanging around in Havelock. We all were in boy scouts together.
Thinking of u Shelley.
Shellie, I am so very sorry for your loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I knew Doug at Northeast High School. He always had a smile. He was quiet and kind. I am sad to hear he has passed.

Dear Hanneman family, I’m so sorry to learn of the passing of Doug. We lived across the street growing up and LaVerne would babysit us when my mom returned to work. We had numerous adventures during those times. May your memories comfort you at this difficult time.
Shellie- I’m so sorry to hear of Doug’s passing! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hugs to you my friend❤️
I knew Doug in High School and thought we might be related since my mother’s maiden name was Hanneman. Never made that connection but would have been honored if Doug was actually my relative. He was such a great person and always had a smile on his face. I started calling him Smiley and always wondered if the nick name stuck. My condolences to Doug’s family for I’m sure his presence will be greatly missed.
Shannon, so sorry to hear about your uncle. Loved seeing the celebration for him at Lee’s. He was loved and will be missed by many. God bless you during this difficult time.
