Condolences for Ivan Wayne Pettit
So sorry to hear about Ivan. I considered him a mentor when I started in infection prevention. He was a great teacher and was always supportive. We attended several national APIC meetings and always have fond memories of that. I feel honored to have met Ivan’s family. It had been some time since that. Good quality of Ivan was to have a very welcoming personality. I hope all your happy memories will offer you comfort. Praying for you all as you go through this time.

Ivan was our ‘across the street’ neighbor for several decades. He was a nice, nice man; always friendly with a wave and a smile. We will miss him.
