Mark E. Tays
Mark Tays of Lincoln, NE passed away September 10, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was a warrior in his fight against cancer but eventually the disease was too much and he is now at peace.
He is survived by his wife Danielle, daughter and son-in-law Sophia and Ryan Baker, son Noah, sister and brother-in-law Susan and Gilbert Gunn, brother and sister-in-law Mike and Kathy Tays, mother and father-in-law Diana and Charles Kirk and countless more brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother Gene and Vera Tays, sister Judy Tays, and niece Jamie Walenta.
Mark was in the printing industry from a very young age until he retired and his knowledge and skill was evident throughout his career. Anyone who knew Mark knew he would do anything for his family, friends or even a stranger, and he had a certain way about him that just made you feel loved. His passions were God, family, friends, fishing with his children and brother, having coffee with his sister and of course he loved riding his Harley. He will be missed more than words can say and will forever be in the hearts of those that truly knew him.
A celebration of life is being planned for October 29th from 1 pm to 5 pm.
In lieu of flowers we request any memorials to be given to the family to be designated at a later date.

Rest In Peace Mark! My condolences to Dani, Noah & Sophie and the extended Tays family. I cherished the friendship I had with Mark. He had a tremendous impact on me personally and professionally and I will forever value and be grateful for the time we spent together.
I so enjoyed working with Mark, he shared his knowledge and humor with us each day. He will be remembered for his love for his family and his caring for those he worked with. After all the earthly painfulness he endured, it is his time to rest. Thank you Mark and thank you Dani and your family for sharing a wonderful man with the rest of us.
My first roommate, we had so much fun together. I truly believe Mark was one of a kind. I just found out of his passing and I feel really empty. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Mark. My condolences to you Danielle.
