Jacqueline Rodriguez
Jacqueline Rae Rodriguez (Hayes) was born December 12, 1951 to Donald and Marjorie Hayes (Carson). Jackie passed away surrounded by her family on August 27, 2022.
On February 14, 1985 Jackie married Richard Rodriguez. Jackie enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers. Jackie and Richard spent many years growing a large garden together each summer. She was a fan of classic rock music and her favorite band was the Eagles. Jackie was also a photographer and loved taking pictures. She especially enjoyed taking memorable pictures for her family and friends special events. Jackie had previously worked at Campbell’s Nursery, Arbor Day Foundation, and then retired from the Liquor Control Commission.
She is survived by her husband Richard, sons: Michael Schweitzer and Amy Sauer, Kevin and Bianca Bell, daughters: Ronna Schweitzer and Derek Thiem, Amanda and Chris Odvody, grandsons: Jonathan Rhodes, Cody Rhodes, Kyle Rhodes, Garrett Schweitzer, Michael Schweitzer, Allen Odvody, granddaughter Alexis Schweitzer, great grandsons: Spencer, Eli, Jensen, great granddaughter Oakley, brother Don and Marilyn Hayes, sister Merilee, special cousin Karen Dickerson, mother in law Mary Rodriguez, brother in laws: Mark and Pam Rodriguez, JR Rodriguez, Donnie Rodriguez, sister in law Dena Rodriguez, many cousins, nieces and nephews, the Ybarra family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Don and Marjorie, husband Ronald Schweitzer, sisters Joy Nyhoff and Marla Griggs, father in law Pete Rodriguez.
Jackie’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Lincoln Dialysis Center for the care Jackie received.
It was Jackie wishes to be cremated and no services.
There will be a private family celebration of life at a future date.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.

I worked with Jackie at the arbor day. We laughed a lot and became friends. She lovingly called me Crumpet because of me being from England. Such a beautiful soul and a smile that lit up the room. Sending love and peace to Richard and family. She will not be forgotten.
