Rosanne B Chess
Rosanne Chess was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She passed peacefully on July 14, 2022, in Lincoln, NE.
For many years, Rosanne worked at the motor pool and elsewhere at West Point. She found joy in her coworkers and in helping people through her work.
However, Rosanne’s most important role was that of wife and mother. Whether it was making sure her husband had just the right shirt to wear, packing Devil Dogs in her carry-on to bring to her son in Nebraska, or inviting her grandchildren to help her decorate for every holiday, Rosanne found great joy in caring for her family.
A lover of animals, Rosanne always surrounded herself with the many cats that she adopted. Never able to say no, she could always be counted on to take in just one more and give them the best of homes. She spoiled them, and they loved her for it.
Rosanne had a passion for traveling. Whether at sea or at the most magical place on earth, Rosanne could always be counted on to have her next trip already set. She loved to explore new places and was always excited to share stories of her adventures with you.
She leaves behind her husband, Kevin, sons and daughters-in-law, Caleb and Jennifer, Joshua and Ashley, and her 6 grandchildren, Marc, Ayla, Edyn, Pandora, Zoe, and Corren.
Her passing has left a deep hole in the lives of all those whom she has touched, and she will be missed dearly.
