Condolences for Troy James Hellbusch
Troy was a good man and I feel privileged to have known him, and I know you will miss him deeply. Know that you have friends who are there for you to help navigate the days ahead, even if it’s just a hello or game of keno. My family will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
Well what can I say about Troy. He was a hard exterior but squishy in the middle. Once he got to know ya he was a sweetie. For 12 years we watched price is right before we would start work so will forever think of you when I watch the show. Love ya Troy. Rest in peace.
Thoughts and love to you at this time! You guys have been on mind often over the years! Troy was an onrey, hard headed at times kind of guy. We butted heads sometimes but I got some good memories that for sure!! I know how much he loved you! Rest in Peace my friend.
I was able to be a friend to Troy for the many years we worked together at TS. He was a hard nut to crack but I was able to see the loving heart he had inside, especially for his best friend …his wife. I used to roll my eyes each time he would answer her calls and his voice got all quiet and full of love. Priceless. Troy and I through the years had a friendship where we would talk about the good and bad things going on in our lives. He always was one to be concerned when I had family members suffering and he held support, My parents adored him as well when they would clean the bar and he was there . Always kind to them. He would never admit it but he kinda liked Ellie buggin him over the years and calling him her version of PS. We spoke about his health challenges and he was so strong about his choices. Had to respect his strength and wishes. I sent him short messages or emojis after he left TS just to remind him I was thinking of him and sending up prayers. I feel blessed that he knew this in his heart. I know he had a small place in his heart for me as well. I will continue to remember the laughter, sarcasm, and often orneriness we shared .Even the days when he would be so grumpy and I I would tell him to just get over it! Troy, ya cant keep us from shedding tears for missing you and being sad. I know that wouldn’t make ya happy to see. You will always remain part of our dysfunctional TS family. I will continue to pray for your soul and that your loving bride will find strength to continue dealing with this loss. I will never forget you Mr. Troy.
Oh Troy, how you drove me absolutely crazy! During shutdown we played a whole lot of quarter blackjack and I realized how amazing you were! I saw your love for your life, and people in general, even if you didn’t always show it ;)! Every breakfast shift I work I will think about you and your smart-aleck comments!
Words cannot describe the incredible impact that Troy had in the lives of myself and my wife, Christina. He epitomized greatness both as a husband to Jonna and as a friend to all who knew him. His love for his wife and the example he set will continue to inspire me as I strive to be half of the husband he was.
Troy and Jonna became family to us and we will forever cherish the memories we have of our time together through our friendship over the years. We will miss your famous cooking and our great laughs when we played cards against humanity. Our deepest sympathy to Jonna we will always watch over you and are here to support you in any way that we can.
Rest in peace Troy
Troy, oh so many memories you have left us with. You could make so many of us laugh, smile, cry and piss a few of them off. The way you rolled your eyes when you were annoyed with people I will never forget. I was blessed to be apart of your life. No one will ever be able to fill your shoes.
Miss you Troy ❤❤
