Aspen Cremation Service works with all cemeteries including Wyuka, Lincoln Memorial Park, and Fairview.
Burial of an urn is a common choice. If choosing cremation, both burial of the urn and scattering of the cremated remains in a cemetery have charges. Some cemeteries require vaults for urns. We sell an urn/vault combination that will work for these situations.
Some cemeteries also charge a “second rite of interment” to put a second urn in a plot that already has one buried in it. Check with your cemetery if you are burying a second urn on the same plot.
Rule of thumb concerning plot costs: City cemeteries are priced higher than most rural cemeteries. City cemeteries must maintain a highter overhead to provide for the upkeep and staff for ground's keeping.
If interested in a rural Lincoln cemetery, some are listed below. Call before visiting. The sexton will meet you at the cemetery and give you information or sell you a plot. These are a few of the out of town cemeteries our families have used over the years.
