JONATHAN LEE, co-founder and owner of Aspen Cremation and Burial Service Inc. was born and raised in Lincoln. He graduated from Lincoln East High School in 1978 and attended Winona State University and the University of Minnesota for undergraduate work. He graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College in Mortuary Science in 1982. Barb and Jon were married the same year.  We have been blessed with three children, Joshua, Danielle and Victoria. They are the pride of their lives. Jon enjoys gardening and working on their acreage.

BARBARA LEE grew up in a Marine Corps family, living in many states.  She graduated from Beavercreek High School near Dayton, Ohio. She went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska in 1980. Through the years, she has volunteered for many "jobs" at church and loves serving the Lord. She also loves watching Victoria's horseback riding and being show mom. She enjoys gardening, decorating and sewing. Barb co-founded Aspen Cremation & Burial Service with Jonathan. She uses her talents in computer graphics on customized memorial books and folders. Her passion is working with families, especially at Gatherings or Memorial Services. 

THARON DAHLGREN grew up in Pitzer, Iowa. She has resided in Lincoln since 1953. She retired from the University of Nebraska Housing as an accountant. She and her husband, Leonard, raised a family of four. She is a grandmother of 8 and a great grandmother of 12. Her passion is her family. She also enjoys reading and the outdoors. She joined Aspen in 2012. She enjoys greeting families and answering the phone.  Tharon assists with many other jobs around the funeral home.
